Turkey net International Investment Positon

As of End of March 2026

 ASSETS:                395,035 million USD

 LIABILITIES:      -755,807 million USD

 NET INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT POSITION: -360,772 million USD

INCREASE of  % 9.19 to 30Sep 2025

 

The negative difference is mainly from the Liabilites 3 position "Other investments". In there the sum of the number 3 "other ınvestments" has a negative total of 400 billion 825 million USD. If we go further we see that under 3.2 "Credits" has a sum about 240 billion USD to lenders. And the position of credits to "non-bank and non-central gov and non- central bank" are about 121 billion USD (Private sector, local gov.).

According to the Electronic Data Database Service (EVDS3) operated by the Turkish Central Bank, the Data has been updated as follow:

 

TURKEY NET INTERNATIONAL POSITION:    -330,398 million USD (increase of ~ 10 billion USD) . The foreign creditors are the financiers. (As of 30th Sep 2025). 

Turkey Assets:            395,464 million USD

Turkey Liabilities:     725,762 million USD
